As I have increased the number of art and gem shows at which I'm exhibiting, it has become impossible to maintain a separate inventory of items to be exclusively listed on the webpage. Thus, I made the decision to no longer list mineral art items for sale on this web page. Both of the agate books can be purchased below, along with calendars, coffee mugs, and tee shirts. You can purchase one of these items by clicking on the corresponding Michigan resident or non-Michigan resident link next to the desired item.

A NEW comprehensive agate book AGATES: INSIDE OUT.

The new book was compiled after conducting over two years of research. It is similar to the first book in that it is intended to make you “think like an agate,” but is much more extensive. It is 258 pages with over 265 color photographs and diagrams. I’ve teamed up with mineral photographer, Tom Shearer, from Duluth. He takes pictures of rocks like no one else. The book discusses agates from around the U.S. as well as some from other countries. It also describes what agates are, how they formed, and how to look for them. The retail price is $22.95, plus sales tax of $1.38 if you live in Michigan, as well as shipping and handling.

Gitche Gumee Beach Rock Identification Guide

This laminated tri-fold guide helps rockhounds to answer a series of questions to identify the top 22 rocks found on the beach, in gravel pits, or in other rock strewn areas.

Now available only from the Gitche Gumee Museum is a new deck of playing cards featuring 52 different images of Lake Superior agates. The cards include four suits: agate specimens, agate structure, agate detail, and agate hunting tips. Not only can the deck be used as standard playing cards, but they can also be used as flash cards to learn more about agates.

This 11 ounce ceramic coffee mug has the agate graphic printed on two sides to accommodate both left and right handed coffee drinkers. The mug is $10 plus $5 s/h and sales tax for Michigan residents.

This black heavy pre-shrunk cotton shirt has an agate photo printed on the front. A high resolution new digital printing technology was used to print these shirts. Please specify the style (regular cut or women's cut), quantity, and size below. The prices are $18.00 for all sizes except for XXL, which are $20. Applicable sales tax will be added for Michigan residents. A s/h charge of $5 will also be added to each order.
